By Car:
- From San Francisco and the Bay Area, take Interstate 80 East and exit at the Old Davis Road/UC Davis exit. Turn left at the end of the off-ramp. Then.
- From Sacramento, take Interstate 80 West and exit at the Old Davis Road/UC Davis exit. Turn right at the end of the off-ramp. Then...
...Follow the curving road past the "UC Davis" sign, and past the information kiosk (it's on your left). Just after the information booth, take the left turn. You will go to a stop sign, and after that is a little bridge -- go over it. Take the first left turn. Look right. The building on the corner is Watershed Science. The security group is on the second floor.
To park, keep going past the first parking lot you see, to the second -- it's called "VP-47" (and is just beyond a street called Bioletti that goes off to the right). Park there (cost is $6) Then just walk back to Watershed Science.
Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center:
The Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center is located on Old Davis Road
and Mrak Hall Drive, across from Parking Lot 1A.
Continue on Old Davis Road and proceed to the first signal light. The Alumni Center is across the street from the Mondavi Center.
From the Airport:
The most convenient airport is Sacramento which is 30 minutes by car
from the Davis campus. The Davis Airporter limousine service [telephone
(530) 756-6715] runs between Davis and the Sacramento airport, and costs
about $20 per person.
